When you are creating a release and you add a new artist, an artist profile is automatically created in the Sonosuite platform. You can check this artist's page by going to "Catalog / Artists".
In this section, you can find all the artists that have been created by an end-user or, if logged as the admin, in your platform as a whole.
You also have the option to create a new artist profile from this section, to add it later in other releases, by clicking on "Create a new artist or band":
How can we update their information?
By clicking on the artist's name, you will go to their profile side ("Artist info"). Here you can add or modify the following information:
Apple Artist ID
Spotify Artist ID
You can check all the releases or tracks that contain the artist name selected by going to the bordering tabs "Releases" or "Tracks".
Delete artists' profiles from the catalog
You can delete an artist profile in the platform from "Catalog / Artists" on the condition that it has never been used in a delivered release. To do so, you only have to click on the bin icon that you will see next to the artist's name.
Once a track or a release related to the artist profile has been sent to stores, this artist profile can not be removed from the platform (even if the release is no longer live or has been taken down).
